EV Deliveries for Commercial Fleets Double in 2023

A new report found that the adoption of battery electric vehicles (BEV) for commercial fleets in the U.S. surged in 2023, as companies have begun to plan for larger investments down the road. Over 26,000 BEV buses, trucks and vans were delivered in 2023, twice the number seen in the previous year. Of that total, commercial cargo vans and pickup trucks made up 90% of all BEV deliveries, 95% of which came from Ford and Rivian. Read more.

PepsiCo to Add 50 Tesla Electric Semi-Trucks to California Fleet

PepsiCo Beverages North America plans to add 50 Tesla electric semi-trucks to its California fleet as part of the company’s mission to reach net-zero emissions by 2040. The company plans to rollout the trucks throughout the next several months. The trucks will operate out of the company’s manufacturing and distribution facility in Fresno. Pepsi will also add 75 Ford E-Transit electric vans to its California fleet at its 13 locations for deliveries and service support. Read more.

Foot Traffic Expected to Rebound to Pre-Pandemic Levels
